The main character – Uhtred, has also lost his land like Daenerys Targaryen and Ragnar Ludbrook, and like the two, he will stop at nothing to fulfill his ambitions.
The series is loaded with battle scenes, the motives of the characters are usually clear and understandable to the viewer, and there’s significant accuracy to the period in its set details.
A period drama made to refined classic style, starring Sean Bean (Ned Stark), Richard Madden (Rob Stark) and Dustin Hoffman. Based on the actual story of the Italian bankers family and filmed mostly in the original locations in Italy.
Can also be labeled as a period drama, and although this show has ended along in 2013, it keeps a respectable place among tv-fans community. The series has a unique visual style, reaching to a kind of theatrical approach, and it is the most daring show in terms of sexual expression.
